Franklin was electric early, but had a case to answer after making high contact on Collins in the final quarter.

Collins was taken from the field for a concussion assessment, but it was thought Franklin could still escape with a fine.
“Every chance Buddy potentially gets off with a fine. Low impact is a fine. Medium impact, it will be one week,” 7NEWS reporter Mitch Cleary said on Channel 7.
But the match review officer called the incident careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, triggering a one-game ban.
It means Franklin will miss the game against Hawthorn, which will more than likely be his last match against his former club.
This year is expected to be Franklin’s last year in the AFL and Sydney only plays Hawthorn once this season.
Rising Melbourne star Kysaiah Pickett has also been suspended for an ugly bump on Western Bulldogs gun Bailey Smith.
During the second quarter of Saturday night’s blockbuster AFL clash, Pickett launched into Smith with a huge hit after the Bulldogs superstar had kicked the ball forward.
Pickett was late and caught Smith high in a brutal shot.
Smith was remarkably able to get back to his feet immediately which would have helped Pickett when it came to grading of the incident.
The match review officer graded Pickett’s bump as careless conduct, high impact and high contact, leading to the two-game ban.
He will miss huge clashes with Brisbane and Sydney.
