His Highness, the Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, congratulated the winners of the Arab Media Awards and within its three axes and the categories that cover the various media, visual and digital sectors, wishing them continued success in their noble mission and their role in enriching the Arab media scene.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum called on the winners to continue the creativity process and present a media product of a high level of excellence that benefits the community and serves its interests, stressing the ultimate goal of the award towards strengthening the role of the media in enabling the Arab person to achieve leadership in the path of global development. .

The “Best Column Writer” award went to Dr. Rasheed Al-Khayoun, writer in the Emirati newspaper Al-Ittihad. He is one of the symbols of journalistic writing in the Arab world. He has published many books on heritage and thought, and he is a recipient of the King Abdulaziz Book Award.

The Arab Media Awards ceremony included the poem “The Eternal Language” from the poems of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, sung by the artist Latifa.

The award ceremony witnessed the honoring of Mohamed Nabil Helmy from Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, with the Arab Journalism Award in the “Political Journalism” category for a work titled “European Energy Crisis Shaping Alliances in the Mediterranean”. As for the digital media award in the “Best News Platform” category, it went to the Saudi newspaper, “The Independent Arabia”, and the Egyptian “Follow ICT” platform won the Digital Media Award for the “Best Economic Platform”, and in the “Best Sports Platform” category, the “Koora” platform won.
