Catherine, Princess of Wales, recently provided an update on her chemotherapy treatment, stating that she is making good progress. The former Kate Middleton first revealed her cancer diagnosis in March after undergoing abdominal surgery in January. She shared that she was in the early stages of preventative chemotherapy at the time of her announcement. In her June 14 statement, the princess expressed gratitude for the support and encouragement she has received and shared that her treatment is ongoing and will continue for a few more months.

The palace released a new picture of the princess along with her statement, showing her standing against a tree in jeans and a tan blazer. In her message, Catherine acknowledged the ups and downs of chemotherapy, noting that on bad days she feels weak and tired, while on good days she wants to make the most of feeling well. She indicated that she is balancing her treatment with engaging in school activities, spending personal time on positive pursuits, and starting to do some work from home.

The princess also revealed her plans to attend Trooping the Colour, King Charles III’s birthday parade, with her family on June 15. She expressed her hope to participate in a few public engagements over the summer while acknowledging that she is still undergoing treatment and is not yet in the clear. Catherine’s upcoming attendance at the event marks her first royal appearance since the annual Christmas church outing in 2023, though she has been active in reviewing reports from initiatives she is involved in.

Catherine emphasized the importance of patience and listening to her body during her treatment, recognizing the uncertainty that comes with battling cancer. She thanked individuals who have shared their own stories with her, expressing appreciation for their bravery and understanding. The princess’s updates provide insight into her journey through chemotherapy, highlighting the challenges and triumphs she faces on a daily basis as she continues to focus on her health and well-being during this difficult time.
