Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has continued to show unwavering support for Israel despite facing nearly two dozen anti-Israel protests outside his home in the Houston area. The protests began in response to Cruz’s vocal support of Israel during the conflict with Hamas on October 7th, as well as his criticism of “cultural Marxism” in elite universities. Despite the ongoing demonstrations, Cruz remains committed to fighting anti-Semitism and standing for Texas values, expressing pride in his support for Israel. The latest incident involved protesters gathering outside Cruz’s home for the 23rd time since February, holding signs and chanting anti-Israel slogans.

During the college school year, student protesters across the country took to campuses to protest against the war in Israel, leading to increased instances of anti-Semitism and Jewish students feeling unsafe on some campuses. Radical protesters at schools such as Columbia University, UCLA, Harvard, and Yale demanded divestment from Israel, sparking tensions and unrest on campus. The conflict in Israel triggered a wave of anti-Semitic incidents on campuses, prompting some Jewish students to leave for their own safety amid growing hostility from demonstrators.

The protests on college campuses have been linked to far-left organizations supported by liberal mega-donor George Soros, including the National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP). These groups celebrated Hamas’ attack on Israel as a “historic win for the Palestinian resistance.” The protesters outside Cruz’s home have been identified as Students for Justice in Palestine, according to law enforcement sources. Despite facing protests at his home and on college campuses, Cruz has stood firm in his support for Israel, condemning the protesters as individuals who have been influenced to hate America.

Cruz has criticized the anti-Israel protests for their repulsive and disgusting nature, accusing the protesters of supporting terrorist organizations like Hamas. He has also called out President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party leadership for their lack of action against the rise in anti-Semitism on college campuses. Cruz has expressed concern over the safety of Jewish students on campus, citing instances where university administrators sided with radical protesters instead of protecting those who were targeted. Despite facing criticisms and demonstrations, Cruz has remained vocal in his support for Israel and his commitment to fighting anti-Semitism.

In response to the protests outside his home, Cruz has taken to social media to address the protesters’ disruptive behavior and express his continued support for Israel. He has highlighted the anti-Semitic nature of the protests and the need to stand against hate and violence directed towards Israel. The ongoing demonstrations outside Cruz’s home reflect a broader trend of rising tensions and anti-Semitic sentiments in response to the conflict in Israel, with activists targeting politicians who openly support Israel. Despite the challenges and disruptions caused by the protesters, Cruz remains resolute in his stance and refuses to be swayed by the anti-Israel sentiments being expressed.
