The family of Maxwell Anderson, who was charged with murder and mutilating a corpse in connection with the death of Wisconsin college student Sade Carleena Robinson, expressed their shock and devastation at her senseless death. Robinson, a 19-year-old Milwaukee Area Technical College student, was reported missing on April 1 after failing to return calls and not showing up for work. Phone records indicated that Robinson had discussed meeting with Anderson at a local bar the night of her disappearance.

According to a criminal complaint, a leg believed to be Robinson’s was discovered at Warnimont Park the day she was reported missing, and her car was found engulfed in flames with the remnants of her phone and clothes inside. A search of Maxwell Anderson’s home revealed blood and containers of gasoline leading towards the basement, where he was later arrested following a traffic stop. Additional body parts, including a foot and flesh believed to be Robinson’s, were later found near where her car was burned.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday that they had discovered a torso and arm on a beach along Lake Michigan, nearly a quarter-mile from where they are believed to have washed ashore. The remains are believed to be Robinson’s, though formal confirmation has not yet been made. The Anderson family released a statement expressing their deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Robinson’s family and loved ones and celebrating her life. They have requested privacy as they process this tragedy.

Robinson’s last Snapchat activity showed her visiting the bar where Maxwell Anderson worked, and a bartender reported seeing them dining together the night of her disappearance, referring to it as a “first date.” The discovery of Robinson’s body parts scattered across the Milwaukee area has shocked the community and raised concerns about the circumstances of her death. The investigation into her murder is ongoing, and authorities are working to confirm the identity of the remains found.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into Robinson’s death, with assistance from other law enforcement agencies. The discovery of additional body parts has prompted further searches in the area, as authorities work to gather evidence and determine the timeline of events leading to Robinson’s death. The community has come together to support Robinson’s family and loved ones during this difficult time, with resources available for those in need of assistance or support.

As the investigation into Robinson’s death continues, the Anderson family has expressed their sorrow for the pain and grief Robinson’s family is experiencing. The tragic circumstances of her death have left many in shock and disbelief, with questions surrounding the events leading to her murder. The Andersons have cooperated with authorities in the investigation, and as more information comes to light, the community mourns the loss of a young life and seeks justice for Robinson.
